Verre was founded in Geneva in 2019 with a singular conviction: that the modern smartwatch had yet to earn its place on the wrist. Too loud, too corporate, too eager to announce itself. We set out to design something different — an instrument that wears its intelligence quietly, behind 44mm of brushed cool-graphite titanium and a dial that looks, at first glance, like it belongs in a mid-century movement collection.
The Meridian I is our first watch. Every component was drawn, redrawn, and drawn again. The lugged integrated bracelet took eleven months to resolve. The burnt-copper seconds ring — our most distinctive element — emerged from a conversation with a Kyoto lacquerware artisan about the relationship between function and flourish. It is, simultaneously, a power indicator and an elapsed-time marker. It is also, simply, beautiful.
There is no luxury more profound than a thing that does everything it must, and nothing it needn't.
Each Meridian I is individually numbered and accompanied by a certificate of manufacture. Estimated delivery: Q2 2027.
